Sync your trades
Trade syncing is how CryptoSignalCircle retrieves your completed trades from connected exchanges and keeps your trading journal up to date.
There are three ways to sync your trades:
- Automatic Background Sync ProThis feature is only available for Pro plan users.Upgrade to Pro
- Quick Sync (Sync all accounts)
- Regular Sync (Sync specific account)

For users on the Pro plan, syncing happens automatically in the background.
- Runs at regular intervals without manual intervention
- Keeps your journal up to date automatically
- Does not consume sync credits
Manual Sync Options
You can manually trigger a sync at any time. This is useful if you want to see your latest trades immediately after a trading session. Manual syncs consume Sync Credits.
Quick Sync
Quick Sync triggers a synchronization for all your connected exchange accounts at once.
- Scope: All connected accounts
- Cost: 1 Credit per account (e.g., if you have 3 accounts, it uses 3 credits)
- Use case: Best when you have traded on multiple exchanges and want everything updated instantly.
Regular Sync
Regular Sync allows you to synchronize a single selected account.
- Scope: One specific account
- Cost: 1 Credit
- Use case: Best when you only traded on one specific exchange and want to save credits.
Manual sync actions (Quick Sync and Regular Sync) require Sync Credits.
- 1 Credit is used per account synced.
- Quick Sync uses credits equal to the number of connected accounts.
- Regular Sync uses exactly 1 credit.
Credits help ensure fair usage and system stability. You can view your available credits directly in your account dashboard.
What does syncing do?
When a sync runs, CryptoSignalCircle:
- Fetches completed trades from your exchange
- Updates your trading journal
- Calculates performance metrics
- Ensures your data stays accurate over time
Only completed trades are synced. Open positions are not included.
What can affect sync speed?
Several factors can influence how long a sync takes:
- The exchange being used
- The size of your trade history
- Exchange API rate limits
- Current system load
Initial syncs usually take longer than ongoing updates.
Why are some trades missing?
In rare cases, trades may not appear immediately.
Common reasons include:
- Exchange API delays
- Very recent trades not finalized yet
- Temporary rate limits
- Trade is not yet fully closed
